Scheduling

Interpreter scheduling for on-site, phone and video assignments

Intalingo schedules on-site, phone, video, Zoom and Webex interpreting assignments, offers them to a group or to one interpreter, and handles confirmation, reminders, end-time reports and close-out.

How it works

From request to close-out

  1. Create the assignment

Set the type, language pair, date and time, and location or meeting details.

  2. Offer it

Send the offer to a group of interpreters or directly to one interpreter.

  3. Confirm

When an interpreter accepts, the assignment is confirmed.

  4. Remind

Intalingo sends reminders before the assignment starts.

  5. Close out

The interpreter reports the end time and you close out the assignment.

What types of assignments can you schedule?

On-site, phone, video, Zoom and Webex assignments, all in the same calendar.

  • On-site: an interpreter attends in person.
  • Phone: a scheduled call at a set time.
  • Video: a scheduled video session.
  • Zoom and Webex: interpreting inside a scheduled meeting.

How are assignments offered to interpreters?

You can offer an assignment to a group of interpreters or directly to one person.

Group offers suit routine work where any qualified interpreter can take it. Direct offers suit work where continuity matters, such as a series of appointments with the same interpreter.

How do confirmation and reminders work?

Once an interpreter accepts, the assignment is confirmed, and Intalingo sends reminders before it starts.

What happens after an assignment ends?

The interpreter submits an end-time report, and you close out the assignment.

Closing out completes the assignment record so it is ready for billing.
